We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting the accounting department in various tasks, including account reconciliation, payroll processing, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software such as, JD Edwards, QuickBooks, Sage, and other corporate accounting systems.
```Responsibilities```
- Assist with account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with timesheet review for payroll and maintain employee records
- Assist with Customer invoicing, reconciling hours and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments, must be comfortable having a variety of task.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
```Requirements```
- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as JD Edwards, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Excel skills.
