Accounting and Payroll Administrator

Located in Davie, we are a medical service provider in need of a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting and Payroll Administrator to join our team. Hours can be full time or part time. Hybrid remote with flexible hours. You will need to be in office a few days per month.

This role requires strong accounting skills and proficiency in various payroll software systems.

Duties:

• All AP duties. Obtain authorization for invoices, set up checks or record ACH payments in Quickbooks, mail payments
• Process employee mileage requests
• Match receipts with credit card statement and enter credit card transactions in QuickBooks
• Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
• Provide P&Ls and any other requested information to business leaders
• Run accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
• Enter payroll transactions to QuickBooks
• Provide payroll reports as requested to management
• Send information to outside accountants to prepare tax returns
• Respond to inquiries from employees regarding their pay
• Maintain accurate employee records including tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and garnishments
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in accounting/bookkeeping

Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Payroll processing experience

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to work independently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
