Accounting And Operations Assistant

Creighton Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for an Accounting and Operations Assistant. This position will report to the Senior Operations and Accounting Manager.

Position Summary:

To support the financial management and Operations of the Credit Union through maintenance of Accounting and human resource records and reports. Performs a wide variety of Accounting and record keeping work under minimum supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews and reconciles journal entries for asset, liability, and equity accounts.

Administers employee payroll processing.

Reviews and pays accounts payable invoices.

Act as the back-up Bank Secrecy Act officer.

Performs various internal audits.

Perform and oversee special projects

Required Knowledge Abilities, Experience, and Education:

Three years of similar or related experience,

Communication skills include some contact with members for first-level problem solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.35 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Cash handling: 3 years (Required)
