Job Summary
The University of Kentucky Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement department and the UK Alumni Association are seeking a new Accountant Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Business Services with a dotted line to the Executive Director of the UK Alumni Association, the Accountant Financial Analyst serves as a strategic partner of the Association's Leadership Team who engage in tactical planning and high-level decision-making. Areas of responsibility include budget, accounting, annual financial reporting, tax preparation, financial analytics, and internal controls. Candidates for this position should have substantial experience in the finance and accounting functions of an educational institution, non-profit organization, or private industry.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Knowledge of FASB accounting standards, AP, BW, Tableau, University HR and Business Policies and Procedures, Administrative and Governing Regulations

Preferred Education/Experience
• A Master's Degree (accounting focus preferred) with a working knowledge and understanding of accounting, finance, budgeting, and project management.
• CPA license preferred
