Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Accountant I
Position Type: Contract
Duration- 12 Months
Location- Durham, NC
As an Accountant I you will:
analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems. Compute taxes owed and prepared tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
Skills:
Someone who knows the basic of accounting - Debits and Credits.
Experience with Balance sheet reconciliation, Balance Transfer, AR/AP.
Requires a Degree in Accounting or related Finance degree with some accounting experience.
Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $27-$29.82 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
