LM Space seeks an early to mid-career Project Engineer/ Control Account Manager (CAM) to join our mission supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has supported the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense. As our CAM Supporting FBM you will perform Control Account duties for all assigned control accounts within the Re-Entry team. This will include leading, budgeting, and managing the cost/schedule/technical performance for each assigned Control Account (CA) on multiple contract line-item numbers (CLINs). This position is based in Valley Forge, PA.
Summary of Key Duties: In this role, you will...
• Effectively manage control account performance, elevate concerns and issues to Senior Management, Project Engineers, as well as Program Management including other impacted control Account Managers
• Work with partnering organizations (Supply Chain, PMP, Quality, etc.) to ensure all processes are appropriately followed and implemented to ensure smooth product flow throughout the lifecycle
• Identify risks and opportunities to the program Risk & Opportunity Control Board and implement approved mitigation plans
• Conduct closed-loop corrective action to include thorough variance analysis, monitoring of cost/schedule mitigation activities, and corrective action adjustment
• Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Senior Manager, the Functional Managers, and Program Manager(s) and Project Engineers.
• Address any 2nd level questions related to parts procurement status, headcount challenges, resource constraints, or safety and quality issues
• Complete all Value Management assigned duties to include work authorization requests, estimate at complete review, schedule status, variance reporting, and comprehensive estimates at complete

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors or higher degree in a technical or business discipline
• Previous Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
• EVM Experience
• Previous Proposal, Basis of Estimate (BOE) and
negotiations experience
• Risk and Opportunity Management experience
• Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early
milestones may drive future costs.
• Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Top Secret clearance to support this government contract
Desired skills
• 6+ years of program and/or project engineering experience
• Fluency with EVM metrics and management
strategies
• General technical knowledge of Flight Hardware and
Space Vehicle Integration
• Risk and Opportunity Management experience
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teammates, IPT Leads, Program Management
Team, as well as internal customers
• Ability to accept responsibility, accountability and
exercise authority to ensure cost, schedule, and
technical success
• Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure
• Strong problem solving, root cause, corrective action,
and closure skills
• Ability to lead discussions and determine resolutions
to problems
• Experience supporting internal and external customer
audits
• Desire to enhance program management skills
including communication, the ability to deal with
unforeseen challenges, and building strong relationships

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
