We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients. Duties:
- Assist in conducting periodic reviews of financial transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and maintaining professional communication
- Assist in managing client expectations and ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- Delegate tasks to bookkeepers and oversee completion of tasks
- Execute high-level bookkeeping entries and time-sensitive tasks
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all necessary adjustments are made for accurate financial reporting
- Monitor and verify that all bookkeeping activities adhere to relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Implement quality control measures to review financial records for accuracy and completeness
- Supervise and support our Junior and Senior Bookkeepers
- Execute New Client Onboarding and Cleanup Projects
- Include the subject line "I'm ready to Thrive!" in your video response email
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback from clients
- Attend meetings with clients via Zoom and phone
- Analyze client financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and increased profitability
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to clients, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends
- Identify inefficiencies in bookkeeping processes and propose and implement solutions
- Streamline workflows to optimize efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping operations
- Keep detailed and organized records of client interactions, agreements, and project milestones
Requirements:
- High level of experience in the real estate investing industry and real estate bookkeeping
- Experience managing other bookkeepers
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online
- Familiarity with Keeper software
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
- Attention to detail and ability to catch mistakes
- Timeliness and ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have 4 hours and/or 2 days blocked out each week on calendar for client calls
- Quiet workspace to take client calls
- Personal laptop/computer with webcam and reliable, secure internet connection
- Long-term commitment, not looking to start their own business in the next two years
