Job description

Job Summary: The Account Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and
developing relationships with general contractors who request estimates and supplement
writing services from the company. This role focuses on client satisfaction, client retention, and
business growth through proactive relationship management and sales efforts, while providing
continuous reporting to the Director of Business Development.



Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing general contractor clients.
  • Be the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and service needs.

2. Client Needs Assessment:

  • Understand the unique needs and requirements of each client, including project
  • preferences, timelines, and specific expectations.

3. Account Growth and Retention:

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts by cross-selling and upselling additional services.
  • Implement strategies to ensure client retention and minimize client churn.

4. Client Communication:

  • Regularly communicate with clients to update them on project progress, changes, and timelines.
  • Address client questions, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.

5. Collaboration with Invoice Supervisor Team:

  • Collaborate with the Invoice Supervisor Team to ensure clients receive accurate and timely invoices, estimates, and supplements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry from support staff.
  • Answer any questions the client may have and be the middleman for the Invoice
  • Team to continue a steady flow of work.

6. Client Feedback Collection:

  • Gather client feedback on the quality of services, communication, and overall client experience.
  • Use feedback to make improvements and enhance client satisfaction

7. Continuous Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports to the Sales Director of Business Development on client relationships, account growth, sales performance, and any issues or opportunities.

8. Contract Management:

  • Manage client contracts and agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
  • Renew and renegotiate contracts as necessary.

9. Market Analysis:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and changes in the industry that may impact clients.
  • Provide clients with valuable insights and industry knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in relationship management, account management, or sales roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry or related fields (roofing, siding, and gutters) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Key Performance Indicators (Bonus Opportunity):

  • Client satisfaction.
  • Client retention rates.
  • Sales revenue generated from existing clients.
  • Client feedback and testimonials.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of client communications.
  • Number of successful upsell opportunities.
