Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our existing clients, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and enjoys building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale accounts.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Monitor account performance and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wholesale women’s apparel market.
- Collaborate with the sales team to set and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and execute sales plans to drive business growth.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about current industry trends, competitor products, and market demands.
- Provide clients with in-depth product knowledge and assist in product selection.
- Order Management:
- Oversee the order process from inception to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Work closely with internal teams, including logistics and production, to meet customer requirements.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem solving.
- Act as an advocate for clients within the company, addressing issues and concerns proactively.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wholesale account management within the apparel industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Working with private label business.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the wholesale apparel market and trends.
- Familiarity with fabric types, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.
- Relationship Building:
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- A customer-centric approach with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
- Problem-Solving:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Team Player:
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
