The Opportunity
Incode is searching for a seasoned Account Executive who will focus on identifying, prospecting, managing, and closing accounts in the Public Sector.
Responsibilities
- Driving and owning the end-to-end sales cycle, identifying targeted federal and SLED accounts to closing business opportunities across the assigned territory through direct pursuits and strategic partnerships.
- Prospecting and identifying leads, leveraging personal networks, and partnering closely with Marketing and SDRs, and Bids and Proposals.
- Working closely with your customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their challenges and goals.
- Leading all aspects of deal execution, including prioritization of deals, strategic and financial assessment, transaction structuring and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success teams for the execution of PoCs, pilots, and production contracts and owning them through the testing and implementation.
- Comfortable with technical software products, specifically SaaS solutions, and becoming a subject matter expert, representing Incode in your target industry sector.
Requirements
- 5+ years of knowledge and experience with the Federal buying market criteria and of the competitive landscape for outside sales of software solutions.
- A sales "hunter" mentality and approach to building and maintaining the pipeline.
- Experience in a quota carrying software or technology company selling SaaS solutions to the Public Sector.
- Experience in government RFX proposal responses.
- Track record of succeeding in a fast paced and competitive market having had ownership of managing and executing the end-to-end sales process.
- Experience managing complex sales processes.
- Record of consistently hitting sales targets.
- A disciplined, methodical and process driven sales approach - you'll be skilled in managing time and resources; have a sound approach to qualifying opportunities coupled with strong business acumen.

Preferred:
- BA/BS degree. A technical degree is a huge plus.
- Prior experience in the SLED market criteria and of the competitive landscape for outside sales of software solutions to SLED agencies.
- Prior experience working in the identity business
- Prior experience working with GovWin and Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
