Why This Role is Valuable
The Account Executive: Wholesale and Distributor Team is responsible for developing and fostering collaborative relationships with wholesalers, distributors, brokers, and the key retailers they service.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Strategy and Business Plan creation among Wholesalers, Distributors, Brokers, and Retailers.
- Generate, agree, and implement a strategic business plan aligned to overall wholesale and distributor strategic plan.
- Act as primary selling interface at wholesale, distributor, broker, and headquarters calling on key decision makers to expand distribution of Kerrygold items.
- Provide brokers with account intelligence and recommendations for effective planning and programming.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with wholesaler, distributor, and brokers and provide effective communication between relevant Ornua teams and customer teams.
Key requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of previous sales or analytical experience
- Possess a degree in Business or Marketing
- Knowledge of wholesaler and distributor operations is preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Strong organizational and planning skills, detail oriented, resilient, ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
