The Opportunity
The Access Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of timely access to outpatient services at FCA's Family Treatment and Recovery Centers. The Access Supervisor will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team and communicate routinely with community stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the referral, pre-screening and screening/assessment processes, utilizing and reviewing approved screening and assessment tools, including LOCADTR, and collaborate with clinical team on treatment recommendations.
- Collaborate with external service providers and entities to ensure timely coordination of care and referrals to outside providers as necessary.
- Responsible for the supervision of the Access Specialist, ensuring that referrals are being screened and assigned appropriately within guidelines set forth by program policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the supervision of Certified Peer Recovery Advocate(s) and Certified Peer Specialist(s), ensuring they perform their job duties within their scope of practice set forth by OASAS/ NYS OMH.
- Maintain a listing of referral agencies with contact names and phone numbers and maintains contact with these agencies for ongoing outreach and referral purposes.
- Complete all program reports, correspondence and other required documentation and submit it by the required deadline.
- Function as an integral member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team and participate in case conferences, team meetings, and in-service workshops as scheduled
- Assume other tasks, projects and responsibilities assigned to support the operations of the program
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office required.
- Valid NYS Driver's License with a safe and responsible driving history

Salary: $62,400-63,000
