In the Supervisor III role within the FPA Access Center, you will be responsible for exemplifying patient experience while interacting with patients and visitors over the telephone and other communications channels by providing superior customer service. The FPA Access Center which is centralized contact/call center for the Mount Sinai Health System, located in West Side of Manhattan. Although we are an administrative office, the Access Center supports many of the various doctors’ offices in our health system.


The Supervisor III for the Access Center is Responsible for training, supervising, and evaluating administrative and other subordinate staff as applicable. Assists director in the creation of reports and projects as assigned.


Responsibilities

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the office or practice with supervision, hiring, training, discipline and discharge of all subordinate personnel.
  • Prioritizes, organizes and initiates work as necessary to meet the administrative and/or billing needs of the office or practice.
  • Human Resources, payroll and billing charges review, as appropriate.
  • Works with Administrator or Manager to review office/practice operations and assists in the creation or revision of policies and procedures.
  • Periodically reviews office performance and identifies areas for improvement. May work in conjunction with other departments.
  • Assists Management in the creation of reports and projects, as assigned.
  • Maintains currency in all applicable computer programs, for coverage and training of subordinate staff.

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent in business or related field
  • 3 years in administrative environment
  • 1 year supervisory experience

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $59999.94 - $75000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
