Position Information
Under the general direction of the CHASS Student Academic Affairs office, the Academic Advisor Supervisor provides direct supervision to Academic Advisors in the various departments of the College of Humanities, Arts &Social Sciences (CHASS). The Academic Advisor Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of the CHASS Highlander Orientation for Freshman (HOF) and management of the CHASS Undeclared Program and Transition programs. They serve as the lead advisor for the creation and implementation of college-level programming, including the development and management of programs designed to enhance academic advising to targeted populations with specialized needs and the subsequent training of departmental Academic Advisors regarding how changes in curriculum, policy, and programming affect their students. Manages CHASS communication cycle. The Academic Advisor Supervisor also provides academic advising to undergraduates in various departments, collaborates on the development of advising-related programming, and engages in data collection and analysis.

The full salary range for the Academic Advisor Supervisor is $64,300 - $114,300 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
