The Pennsylvania Game Commission is seeking an experienced and dependable Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1 to provide valuable upkeep and preservation services within our beautiful State Game Lands. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1, you will perform semi-skilled duties and assist with various tasks such as the maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. Assist with nursery production through the securing of seeds, as well as the pruning and releasing fruit and nut trees, shrubs, and vines for wildlife food enhancement. You will also assist with a multitude of habitat management tasks and complete mowing duties to include border cuts and access trail maintenance for outdoor recreationalists.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time, 3 Year Limited Term employment.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or
- One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or
- One year of construction equipment operation experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Necessary Special Requirements:
- You must possess an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
Post Employment Requirement:
- You must obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver’s License within one year of employment in this job.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
