Responsibilities

Key Roles and Responsibilities for the Shipping Supervisor position include but are not limited to:

• Provide support to the Shipping and Receiving Superintendent
• Manage shift and maintain PPMH targets
• Manage daily and weekly labor reports
• Manage daily and weekly load-out and rotation reports
• Manage daily order-fill and quality
• Maintain crewing needs
• Manage all technical aspects of Shipping and Receiving procedures:
  • Safety procedures and programs
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist Shipping and Receiving Superintendent in cost reduction efforts
• Assume responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Superintendent in their absence
• Provide ongoing training and guidance to Shipping and Receiving team
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position.  This is not a remote position.

Qualifications

Qualified Candidates for the Shipping Supervisor position should possess the following:

• Food Industry Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
• Solid leadership skills
• Computer proficient
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
