Job Description
Quest Engineering, Inc., an architectural casework manufacturer, is currently seeking an individual for Production Supervisor. This position is responsible for the production process of cabinetry and related assemblies. This position will assist in the operation of the automated woodworking equipment. This position requires in-depth knowledge of woodworking equipment and processes. This position will be located at our Richfield, WI manufacturing plant.

Reports to: Plant Manager / COO
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the employees and activities of the production function to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards are met or exceeded.
· Ensure production efficiencies and product quality
· Facilitate smooth hand offs between shifts, identify and facilitate continuous improvement activity, participate, and lead initiatives to meet plant level goals, work with all levels of management to set appropriate staffing levels and staffing alignment.
· Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems; analyze and resolve work problems and assist workers in solving work problems.
· Help develop and implement operational solutions utilizing lean manufacturing methods in a team environment.
· Conduct appraisal of employee performance, attendance, and recommend wage adjustments, promotions, etc.
· Growth of capabilities and capacities per company’s vision
· Production processes of new products
· Manage and oversee a team of 10+ employees
· Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees to ensure a flexible workforce.
· 2nd Shift development and sustainability
· Demonstrated skills in leading and participating in cross-functional teams
· Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
· Enforce and comply with company standard procedures
· Ensure the safety of all employees by enforcing a comprehensive safety program to prevent injuries. Comply with all federal, state, and local safety regulations. i.e., OSHA
Roles/Relationships:
· Effectively communicate with team leaders, plant manager, COO, and other team members to efficiently accomplish production goals.
· Provide input and assistance in the development and implementation of process and product improvements.
Specifications/Requirements:
· 5 plus years of cabinetry related experience in machine operation or casework assembly, or operation of automated machinery.
· 3+ years in a leadership role
· In Depth knowledge of casework and customs construction methods.
· Outstanding communication skills.
· Self motivation is an absolute must.
· Superior organizational skills.
· Sense of urgency; ability to respond rapidly.
· AutoCad and CAM software experience is a plus.
· Software proficiencies in Microsoft Office.
Compensation:
Hourly wage based on experience.
Overtime as deemed necessary by plant manager.
