Appointment Setter/Telemarketer

It’s an exciting time at Matthijssen Business Systems! Thanks to years of consistent growth we recently moved into a new, larger, modern headquarters in Cedar Knolls. Now we are trying to outgrow it! We are creating two brand new business development teams and are in need of full time appointment setters to be on those teams and support the outside sales. The position is 95% on the phone calling outbound to local businesses to schedule sales appointments for Matthijssen Business Systems (Eg. I.T services, Data security, Office equipment, VOIP phones)

Team members will be provided all the tools needed to follow a proven roadmap to success to hit company appointment setting benchmarks.

Duties will include placing calls using a contact database to identify key contacts at target companies and seek detailed qualification information to generate leads for outside sales.

Part time, 16-30 Hours per week dependent on situation, Hybrid Office/WFH with exciting new team.

Qualifications:

Results orientation

Strong communication skills including the ability to demonstrate patience, tact and enthusiasm while communicating with potential customers

Excellent telephone etiquette and professional phone voice

Ability to understand product offerings after training

Prior appointment setting experience not a must; but experience in a phone related job is a requirement.

Compensation:

$22 per hour, $50 bonus for every qualified appointment, plus monthly and quarterly spiffs. Paid Vacation, plus possibly Sick, Major Medical, 401K and more dependent on contract and hours worked.
