- The CCAA Internship Program provides college students and recent college graduates with opportunities to learn the complex and dynamic profession of airport management. - This competitive 10-week full-time paid internship program targets rising Junior and Senior college students who seek experience in airport operations.
- Our program provides students the opportunity to learn the complex and dynamic profession of airport operations and allows students of African American, Hispanic, and Asian descent backgrounds the opportunity to broaden their experiences. Students must be willing to commit to the entire 10-week period, to participate.

- Memorial Day - August
- Paid up to 40 hours a week
- Two-week departmental orientation
- Eight weeks work in a selected CCAA Department
- Some possible travel and off-site meetings
- Possible college credit
- Selection process: January through March
- Must be a resident of South Carolina or enrolled in a South Carolina College/ University at time of application
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient computer skills
- The position incumbent must be able to function indoors in an office environment engaged in work of primarily a sedentary nature.
- Requires ambulatory ability to sit for extended periods of time, to utilize microcomputers and peripheral equipment, accomplish other desktop work, and to move to various Authority locations.
- Requires the ability to use near vision to read printed materials.
- Requires auditory ability to carry on conversations in person and over the phone.
- Requires manual and finger dexterity to write, use a pointing device and keyboard at an advanced rate (60 w.p.m. or equivalent with expertise in word processing applications), operate computer, and operate other standardized office equipment requiring repetitive motions.
- Work is performed indoors where minimal safety considerations exist.
- The intern should be a rising junior or senior student with a minimum 3.00 GPA currently enrolled in a South Carolina college or university in a course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree in Airport Management, Business Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
