Job Description: Customer Service Solutions Intern -Summer 2024 

We are seeking a mission-driven Customer Experience (CX) Solutions Intern who will support all account management (B2B) activities as well as interact directly with AFL stakeholders to ensure we deliver the highest level of customer support. This includes but is not limited to order entry, operations, auditing, Customer Service and inside sales support. The CX intern will strive to answer requests and fulfill orders as well as provide sales, business development, and marketing support on an as needed basis.

Available Terms: Summer 2024 (Full-Time) 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with customer inquiries from prospective and existing customers
  • Help resolve customer requests and potential challenges/complaints
  • Answer customer inquiries from prospective and existing customers
  • Participate in the development of repeatable, scalable processes to drive customer loyalty and AFL productivity
  • Provide teams/customers with quote status, order status, shipping details
  • Collaborate with team members
  • Inform CX Team of current opportunities and customer challenges
  • Communicates any problems or issues to management for resolution

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years college experience in Business, Sales Management, Marketing or Communications
  • At least a sophomore standing at a 4 year accredited university with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Displays a track record of high performance in school, work and community involvement
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond in a timely manner to request
  • Previous Customer Service experience (retail, hospitality, sales) recommended, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external clients by phone and email
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
