Payroll Coordinator
Reports to: Payroll Manager
Classification: Seasonal (April-October), Part Time (Hours will vary from 25-40 during peak part of our season)-Remote
Summary
Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and disbursement of payroll in a multi-state environment using Paycor payroll and time and attendance modules.
Essential Functions
- Process payroll and transmit direct deposit.
- Process and maintain garnishments.
- Accurately maintain all relevant employee files.
- Generate management reports as required.
- Assist with W2 process.
- Handle employee verification process.
- Manage 401K transmittals, enrollments, and notifications.
- Serve as an administrative resource for health insurance benefits.
- Participate in audit activities including but not limited to unemployment audits; quarterly PR to GL audits; quarterly PR taxes to GL audits.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all data/information related to employee pay data and other sensitive information.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of payroll experience are preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required; experience working in Paycor is desired.
- Exceptional attention to detail is required.
- Possesses good communications skills, a courteous demeanor, and a helpful attitude.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Highly organized and efficient with keen ability to multi-task.
