This role is an in office position for candidates within a commutable distance of our Irvine location. This role is exempt salary, and pays a range of $67,000 - $80,000 per year depending on experience. This role is open to candidates who do not require visa sponsorship.
We are in search of an experienced Payroll Coordinator, with a proven record of excellence in the field! In this position you will be supporting the HR Manager by handling the specifics of payroll processing and ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, resolving discrepancies as needed
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management
- Generate payroll reports and analyze payroll data for accuracy
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams for payroll-related tasks
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments
- Assist with benefits - enrollment and maintaining accurate records.
- Wage garnishment processes
What you bring to the table:
- 3-5 years minimum experience as a Payroll Coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel (Paycom experience is preferred)
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
