As a Summer Intern at CDW, you will work on high-quality projects where you will gain valuable experience while delivering work that makes a difference. We strive to provide our interns a meaningful experience and consider CDW for a full-time career post-graduation.
What you'll do:
- Reviewing and updating DR runbooks
- Contacting various team members to collaborate for remediation of issues that may occur in DR testing.
- Meeting with different business units to conduct business impact assessments.
- Planning upcoming Disaster Recovery test and events for 2024
- Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage application scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
- Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of virtual agent solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices.
- Work with internal API's
- Document, track, and monitor issues escalated to ensure a timely resolution.
- Utilize experience and judgment, as well as pre-established processes and procedures to identify, research, and resolve technical issues.
- Create, review, and maintain critical system documentation, such as requirements documents, design documents, interface description documents, test plans.
The 2024 Summer Internship Program will begin Tuesday, May 28th and end Friday, August 2nd.
Requirements (Preferred)
- Comfortable with loosely defined problems, have a demonstrated ability to think creatively, and draw upon a variety of sources for ideas and solutions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams.
What we're looking for:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate students with a graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025 with ability to begin full-time employment in 2025 (if offered employment post-internship)
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven individual who will make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively
- Team oriented and able to develop positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved
- Strong presentation skills, including ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Microsoft Office skills including, but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
- Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer
- Authorization to work in the US; without sponsorship as a full-time coworker
