Data Analyst & Testing Coordinator Job Description

SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Data Analyst & Testing Coordinator will maintain all systems that support data driven decision making such as MAP, I-Ready, AASA, Azella, MSAA, and Link-It. In addition they will analyze teacher, scholar, and school level performance data. The position will monitor and maintain at the school, district, and state level. They will create reports for data for necessary stakeholders. They will evaluate and assess how various programs and curriculum meet achievement goals. They will monitor synergy for properly uploaded data while collecting and disbursing data to necessary stakeholders.
The Data Analyst & Testing Coordinator will oversee all district and state level testing such as MAP, I-Ready, AASA, Azella, and MSAA. They will train all schools and protocols for tests. They will maintain proper materials for all sites. They will work with IT to make sure all electronic testing requirements are met. They will oversee the testing schedule for districts and each site. They will visit each campus, during all tests, to verify fidelity. Report all testing information to the state and serve as POC with ADE for all testing. They must maintain all current testing training certifications.
QUALIFICATIONS/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with school level data
  • Valid AZ Driver's License (In state travel required)
  • Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card / Background and Criminal History Clearance.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate office equipment as required on assignment; i.e. fax machine, copier, computer, etc.
  • Ability to lift boxes and packages of varying weights and move them to other locations.

Data Analysis Responsibilities
  • Maintain systems that support data-driven decision making
  • Knowledge of the following:
    • MAP
    • I-Ready
    • AASA
    • Azella
    • MSAA
    • Link-It
  • Ability to analyze scholar, teacher, and school level performance data.
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining all databases with data at both the District and State levels.
  • Ability to create reports based on data for necessary stakeholders.
  • Responsible for auditing scholar data for reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for evaluating and assessing how various programs and curriculum meet achievement goals.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with District and School Administration.
  • Monitor SIS (Synergy) for properly updated data.
  • Coordinate the collection and dispersal of data.

Testing Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Oversee all testing at the district and state level, including:
    • MAP
    • I-Ready
    • AASA
    • Azella
    • MSAA
  • Responsible for training all schools on protocols and necessary steps for each test.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper materials for all sites, including:
    • Computer based materials
    • Paper based materials
    • Necessary Accessories
  • Works with IT to make sure electronic testing requirements are met
  • Monitor and oversee testing schedules for district and each site
  • Order, distribute, and collect testing materials for each site
  • Responsible for visiting campuses to look for fidelity and validity during AASA, MAP, and I-Ready testing
  • Report all testing information to the state and necessary stakeholders
  • Maintain status of POC with ADE for all testing
  • Maintain all current testing trainings and certifications
  • Work with each site for ESS/504 scholar accommodations for all tests
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure that scholars, staff, parents and the district are functioning in collaboration.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
*Travel Required
Position requires standing, sitting, and moving from one position to another as well as the occasional need to lift, carry, push and or move objects up to 30 pounds. Verbal communication is generally required. The position requires the use of computer technology such as computers, video, projection, and associated technology. Indoor classroom environment and outdoor playground and exposure to all weather conditions. Interfaces with the public, employees, families and scholars.
