JOB TITLE: Digital Media Creator
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Development and/or Designee
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time/Non - Exempt

THE OPPORTUNITY (POSITION OVERVIEW)
The Digital Media Creator will be responsible for developing engaging and informative content across various digital platforms. Including playing a key role in crafting compelling stories, video, photography, visuals, and messaging that resonate with our target audience and support our overall marketing and communication goals.
WHAT YOU WILL DO (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
Coordinate with outside providers the content design, development, and production for various organizational websites, social media, and major outreach campaigns.
Develop and produce high-quality content in various formats, including social media posts, blog articles, videos, infographics, and email newsletters.
Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure content is relevant and effective.
Develop photography and video content for the schools that iCA serves.
Craft engaging and informative content that aligns with brand voice and messaging.
Create visually appealing graphics, images, and video elements to accompany content.
Work with minimal design guidance or collaborate with the design team to ensure brand consistency.
Utilize basic design tools and software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) to create visuals.
Schedule and publish content across various digital platforms according to an editorial calendar.
Utilize content management systems (CMS) to upload, edit, and publish content.
Monitor the performance of content and analyze key metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, clicks).
Adapt content strategies based on data insights to improve engagement and effectiveness.
Work closely with marketing, communications, and other teams to develop and execute content strategies.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
Provide ongoing support and actively collaborate with all iLEAD educational partners, Schools leaders and employees to ensure that the mission, vision, values and philosophy of iLEAD Schools is clearly understood and carried out.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Communicating with others to exchange information (in person/telephone/computer)
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
When needed to support a school or education program, must have the ability to travel by public transit as well as operate a vehicle for self-transportation purposes between worksites
Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
May encounter outdoor elements: high (>90)/low (<60) temperatures, precipitation and/or wind
Ability to work in situations involving the need to make informed and quick decisions
Ability to supervise/manage workers and delegate as needed in project management situations
Reading detailed documentation and analyzing data sets
Writing professionally, both by hand and utilizing computer software
Speaking in public settings including making public presentations to large and small groups
Occasional travel to tentpole events, internal conferences, network schools, etc. may be required
Dealing and navigating professionally through high-stress situations

WHAT YOU WILL BRING (QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, journalism, or a related field (preferred)
1-2 years of experience in content creation and/or digital marketing.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content
Excellent visual communication skills and basic understanding of graphic design principles
Proficient in social media platforms and content management systems
Experience with video editing software a plus
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
Passion for creativity and storytelling
