Essential Duties andResponsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
- pull parts from stockroom and overflow locations based on pick list
- put away parts received from inspection per procedures
- complete shortages per QP11/1-01, if applicable
- short fills for production floor areas
- locate and utilize Stockroom Work Instructions
- proper material handling, kitting, stocking and short-fill techniques, according to First-In-First-Out (FIFO)
- fill out all tags and paperwork related to kitting, stocking and short-fills, as outlined in the Stockroom Work Instructions
- performs computer transactions as needed for Stockroom job responsibilities
- use proper procedures for “Limited Shelf Life” materials and handling
- perform all duties associated with cycle counting (reconciling)
- create labels for new parts
- use good computer knowledge for finding stock locations, part availability, and "where used" inquiries
- disposition MRB's and complete shortage sheets per AQP6/4-01
- purge parts from stockroom
- deliver material to production floor
- resolve routine inventory adjustments
- sample counts with inventory auditors
- determine the disposition of obsolete material
- replace Team Leader when needed
- schedule product and people
- aid in the development and implementation of stockroom layout
- understand inventory transactions and can follow audit trails
- resolve computer inventory-to-actual problem solving
- pull and count piece parts
- replace EIS when needed
- check and fix time sheets per AQP100/1-07
- follow audit trails through understanding of inventory transactions
- use advanced skills in the resolution of Computer inventory-to-actual problem solving
- assign primary and non-primary stock locations
- train team members and recommend certification per QP10/1-01
- Look into all inventory issues and be able to “Think outside of the box”

- inventory control methods (i.e. shortages, NCM process, and understand of work order system)
- all material transactions within computer (inventory audit trails)

- ITAR restrictions when dealing with badges and ITAR related materials and documentation
- the 6S system (Sort, Simplify, Sweep, Standardize, Self-Discipline, Safety) and adheres to and encourages others to comply with the principles
- the Kaizen Card program and our efforts to continuously improve
- the company’s mission statement, quality policy and performance metrics and is capable of explaining them to team members
Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by Team Member to successfully perform of the essential functions of this job.
