We currently seek to fill the position of IS Applications Specialist to lead the application of our Epicor Kinetic ERP system to support all aspects of KBC Sales, Manufacturing, Inventory, and other business processes. This role works directly with all levels of staff to improve business processes. The IS Applications Specialist is responsible for selecting and deploying technology-based solutions coupled with process analysis and redesign, all while advancing KBC's mission of being a forward-thinking, collaborative, and ethical business.
Responsibilities- Primary responsibilities include serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a range of business applications including Kinetic ERP, Salesforce, and Tableau. Leads business managers in identifying how specific applications bring value to the organization.
- Designs business processes to leverage those applications and translates business requirements into robust solutions.
- Designs, creates, tests, and documents ERP (Epicor) configuration changes including BAQs, BPMs, Functions, and UI customization per business process needs.
- Analyzes user requests, documents technical specifications, and plans cost effective business solutions for these requests.
- Secondary responsibilities include managing and/or assisting with maintenance, installation/configuration, and administration of assigned business applications.
- Performs level 1 & 2, day-to-day end user support for application usage/operation related incidents.
- Responsible for project design, scheduling, and management, including the management of external resources. External resources may consist of contractors, application consultants, and application supplier technical staff.
- Works with other IT staff supporting administration, availability, backup/restore, installation, and configuration as assigned.
- Performs problem diagnosis for incidents and analysis of requests dealing with the assigned applications.
- Partners with business users and executive management to determine enterprise appropriate solutions/specifications for application extensions/reports using sound business analysis techniques.
- Creates, changes, and manages business reports and dashboards and performs data analysis for supported software.
- Performs implementation, testing, and training of significant new business software or software upgrades/changes.
- Maintains software documentation and procedural documentation for the assigned applications.

- Must have a BS degree from an accredited college or university or an AS degree in appropriate discipline with directly applicable experience.
- Must have 2+ years' experience supporting an Epicor ERP system in a 150+ person enterprise.
- Must have 2+ years performing data analysis and creating business reports using Crystal reports, SSRS, and SQL based tools.
- Must have 2+ years' experience with the configuration and development of Epicor BPMs, Dashboards, and UI customizations (including Application Studio).
- Familiarity/experience with Epicor Automation Studio (Workato), Salesforce, and Tableau is ideal.
