Youth Support Worker

Crossroads Programs, an affiliate with Apis Services, is looking for compassionate and eager professionals to join our team in a rewarding career. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Youth Support Workers (Full-time or Part-time).

As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in our residential program at Kerri's House, where you'll provide a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 5 to 12. Many of these children have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect, and your commitment and care can make all the difference in their lives. Essential Job Responsibilities

• Transport individuals to appointments and activities
• Maintain detailed documentation using an online system
• Assist with activities of daily living such as cooking meals, laundry, cleaning, and personal hygiene
• Administer medications

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of experience providing direct support to children with intellectual disabilities in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting or
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field + 1 year providing direct support to children with intellectual disabilities in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting
• Valid NJ/PA Driver's License.
• Ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training
• Candidates must pass: Criminal Record History, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, Physical & Drug Screening
