You will:
*Assist the Youth Ministry team with all support needs pertaining to service experience (50%)
*Support the planning and execution of Youth services (pre, during and post) and special events
*Recruit and schedule Six78 service hosts
*Preach in youth environments
*Plan and execute after service events for students and families to participate in
*Assist the Youth Ministry team with all needs pertaining to student discipleship(50%)
*Maintain contact with students who lead, keeping them informed of ongoing activities.
*Be responsible for aspects of the student leadership teams in Youth Ministry
*Seek to integrate Youth Ministry into all phases of church life to create a culture that is intentionally intergenerational, striving to unite with and complement other church ministries
*Plan and execute student leader celebrations
You have:
*Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to interact with staff, teenagers, families and members of the body efficiently and effectively
*Written and verbal communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly, directly and tactfully to support team objectives
*The gifts of teaching, service, administration, and discernment
*Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher and Google
*The ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask
*The ability to complete projects on time and follow-through efficiently
*The ability to relate to both parents and children dependent on specific situations
*The ability to follow-through, keep check lists, and think of solutions on your own
*Flexibility and good time management skills
*A special gifting and desire to equip students to lead
What you are required to know:
*We are an EEO employer.
*You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 35 lbs.
*This is a part-time (20 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position.
*You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.

It would be incredible if:

*You have a good working knowledge of sports and can fluently converse about it with others
*You are fluent in 18 holes of golf
Work Schedule:
Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events.
