***This position has the following variable hours: Monday through Friday: 1:45-7:15 PM***
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Youth Services works directly with an individual to provide the specific services to meet the individualized needs of that individual. A DSP in Youth Services may work with a small group of individuals, or one to one to provide supports needed for individuals to participate in selected activities and progress with their individual goals. Programming is varied and may occur in a variety of setting, with local outdoor adventures and day trip adventures, included! The DSP in the Youth Program works as a member of a team and reports to a Program Manager. While this sounds kind of serious, this is seriously fun and meaningful work!
Essential Responsibilities:
• Follow individual care plans to help individuals work toward achieving goals.
• Document as needed, from communicating with the team to daily notes and med passes.
• Provide a safe place for everyone while following emergency and inspection procedures (house and site and vehicle).
• Be an example of positive communication and social skills.

• Candidate must be 18+ years of age
• A Valid Driver's License with the ability to obtain a Missouri Class E Driver's License within 14 days of hire
• Current Vehicle Insurance in employee's own name
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass driving history and criminal background checks
• 1+ years of relevant Direct Support Professional Experience preferred
• Proven track record of 6+ months of employment at one company
• Excellent written communication skills
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to reliably commute to work in all weather conditions
Pay Range for this position is $17.50 to $20.00 and will be based on experience and education. Rate includes a $1 shift differential for evenings after 6:00 PM and $3 shift differential for any weekend hours, should they become available with this position. Upon completion of six months of employment, you will receive a $.50/hour rate increase. Upon completion of 12 months of employment, you will receive a second $.50/hour rate increase.
