JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Job Title: Youth Development & Support Coordinator
Salary: $26.74 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (Non- Exempt)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· In collaboration with project team, schedule meetings with partnering schools and youth organizations to discuss NACA’s Youth Serving Partnership and Incentive Program (YSPIP). Develop Memorandums of Agreements (MOA) with schools and other youth serving organizations to participate in YSPIP.
· Lead the implementation of CAST, UNITY, & Sources of Strength programming at schools and agencies participating in NACA’s Youth Serving Partnership and Incentive Program
· Asist coordination of programs with youth serving partners: CAST, UNITY, Sources of Strength
· Assist with the coordination of School-based PHQ-A screening.
· Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and acquisition of relevant documentation, files and records, ensuring rigorous protection of client information for data collection and submission.
· Maintain updated curriculum database and training records for program reporting.
· Develop and maintain on-going professional relationships with training participants.
· Provide Technical Assistance and support to participating youth servicing organizations,
· Host monthly meeting using technology such as Zoom, Skype or others.
· Attends staff meetings.
· Participates in the organizational Quality Improvement Program through incident reporting and identifying opportunities for improvement. Advocates for Zero Suicide and integrated health care at NACA.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree health and human services, public health, or related field and two (2) years of previous experience in community-based services; equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Experience in working with Native American is desirable. This position is covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children. Due to this requirement, the agency must ensure that persons hired for these positions have not been found guilty of or pleaded nolo contendere or guilty to certain crimes. Must be current with required immunization per the NACA HR Policies and Procedures and Infection Control Policy. BLS Certification and HIPAA Certification. Possess a valid state Driver's License. Must pass a criminal background investigation & Leve 1 Fingerprint Clearance in accordance with NACA policy.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES
· Knowledge of children’s mental health and related service system; demonstrated experience in working with youth empowerment and leadership programs and demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships.
· Familiarity with Native American culture(s), society and working knowledge and respect for Native American culture, traditions, and customs.
· Knowledge of youth-driven practices and experience in working with youth.
· Excellent community outreach capabilities.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills to prepare correspondence, concise reports and conduct presentations within established policies, objectives, priorities, and timelines.
· Knowledge of advanced computer operations, word-processing and database programs.
