SUMMARY
Coordinates the activities and functions of the Central Support Center. Oversees the Support Center work requests for facility maintenance and repair, transportation services, technology hardware, software, district applications, telecommunications, and web-based issues, to completion or escalation with prioritization. Analyzes, evaluates, and ensures that the goals and objectives for the Support Center are accomplished according to established priorities, time and funding limitations or other specifications.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Communications, or related field
AND
Two (2) years of administering or coordinating programs
OR
Associate in arts (AA) degree in Computer Science, Communications or related field
AND
Four (4) years of progressive experience administering or coordinating business processes for large organizations.
OR
Six (6) years of progressive experience administering or coordinating business processes for large organizations. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.
Experience developing and providing training and/or technical support to personnel.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Availability to work flexible hours and be on call as necessary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundations, service desk help/ticket management software, and/or Help Desk related certificate desirable.
Experience utilizing student information systems, bus routing software and/or work order systems.
Technical Certification in Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Network+ or similar
Experience in providing customer service in an education setting
Bilingual English/Spanish

FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
