Youth Care Workers With Sign- On Bonus

The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services, located at 1010 Centre Ave, Reading, PA Park Historic District is in HIGH DEMAND for Full-Time & Part-Time Youth Care Workers to cover 2nd & 3rd Shifts.
Position Summary:

• Provide supervision, guidance, boundaries, and directions to our residents.
• Demonstrate a variety of support, communication, & compliance with CHOR's Sanctuary principles.
• Assisting with the planning and supervising of programmed activities.
• Maintain safety & security of residents and facility at all times.
• Committed to young people & the ability to act with integrity in times of stress.
• Demonstrate patience, tolerance and flexibility.

Position Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of 60 college credits in a social/human service field OR
• High School diploma (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience working with youth
• Bachelor's Degree a plus
• Must be 21 Years of Age or Older
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Required to work on weekends as schedule by supervisor
• Must past all pre-employment physical & drug screening including background clearances (Child, Criminal, and FBI)
