The Opportunity
As a mental health professional at Sandstone Care, you will have the opportunity to:
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for Young Adults in the outpatient setting (IOP) using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches. You will create personalized treatment plans and help them cope with their mental health, substance use challenges and support their recovery and growth.
• Manage a small caseload maintaining regular communication and documentation. You will set clear boundaries and expectations and manage your time and resources efficiently.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of experts

Who You Are
To thrive in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Educational Background:
A master's degree in a relevant field is required.
Clinical License:
Possession of clinical licensure is mandatory (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT).
Provisional Licenses (LPC, LSW, ALMFT) will be considered.
Professional Experience:
Essential: Previous experience in substance abuse treatment.
Preferred: Experience in a detox or residential treatment facility.
Experience in individual or group therapy
Clinical Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in Motivational Interviewing.
Skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Familiarity with Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Documentation Skills:
Strong ability in documentation to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
