The Yard Spotter is primarily responsible for moving trailers in the yard to ensure that freight is getting loaded properly. The Yard Spotter also provides direction to forklift operators to ensure accurate and efficient loading of freight into trailers via stop order and delivery location. Tracks and reports overages, shortages and freight damage. Other duties as assigned.
To qualify you must:
- Be at least 21 yrs of age*
- Class D license required
- Previous Experience moving/backing 48 to 53 ft Trailers
- Prior Sit-down Forklift Operating experience required
