We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Yard Manager to oversee our small team of Loaders(workers). The Yard Manager will be responsible for keeping workers on task, managing their schedules and maintaining equipment that we rent. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and possess strong leadership skills and mechanical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the Rental Equipment in yard going in and out
- Coordinate with customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Implement and maintain rental inventory to minimize loss and maximize efficiency
- Supervise a team of 2-3 warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor and optimize warehouse layout to improve workflow and maximize space utilization
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Service department when equipment breaks down
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, materials handling.
- Experience with Forklift use
- Basic Mechanical/Equipment knowledge to know when rental equipment is damaged and needs attention.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively lead a team and delegate tasks
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

- Crew management: 1 year (Preferred)
