Responsibilities
SCOPE OF WORK
The Workforce Development Programs Coordinator (WDPC) will coordinate the internship program at Gaylor Electric by developing communication strategies to reach potential
candidates in various secondary and postsecondary schools and organizations across all Gaylor Electric locations. In addition to designing the overall structure of these programs, the WDPC will be responsible for meeting all goals of the internship program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees all aspects of the internship program at all locations
- Support the education department by meeting program expansion goals
- Proactively identifies and initiates resolution of issues related to the
internship program as well as general recruiting. Proposes suggestions and solutions to these issues. - Maintain current funding and pursue new funding for programs while working with the
education team, accounting, and marketing departments - Organize, lead, and ensure all training for the internship program
- Oversees preparatory programs through The Crossing and ABC.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent professional experience.
QUALIFICATION
- High level of interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Thorough understanding of high school and college internship programs
- Understanding of learning management systems.
