The Development Operations Coordinator (DOC) will provide operational and logistical support for Community Engagement staff within walk and congregational programs as well as support for the digital marketing team. In addition, the DOC will have overall responsibility (revenue and operational support) for an assigned portfolio of self-service walks.
The primary mode of contact with donors and key volunteers will be via email and over the phone. The ability to be organized and work with Salesforce, One Cause and Microsoft office applications will be necessary. - Support and maintain all assigned self-service walks
- Operational and logistical support of assigned walks for traveling and non-traveling walk managers
- Responsible for data integrity in OneCause and Salesforce as it relates to fundraising data
- Ownership and upkeep of OneCause campaigns for CROP Hunger Walks
- Fulfillment and follow-up on materials requested by assigned congregations and walks
- Work remotely as a member of the Engagement Team
- Assist with the work of walks and congregations to ensure volunteers feel connected and supported by CWS
- Follow the process of thanking volunteers within on a regular basis, including generating gift reports, thanking donors through phone calls and emails, and keeping track of contact made
- Plan and follow through on additional donor contact strategies for walks and congregations, such as lapsed donors, donors with certain giving levels or interests, donors in certain geographic areas, and donors to certain campaigns. Process includes generating reports, creating talking points, email content, or written materials, reaching out to donors, and tracking donor contact
- Maintain accurate records of all volunteers through the database and/or CRM system provided
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in related field or 2 years of experience in related field.
Experience:
- Minimum two years of proven experience in multiple fundraising methods and constituent engagement
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively
- Previous employment and/or volunteer experience with a non-profit and/or faith-based organization is useful
- CRM/Database experience preferred.
