Tasting Room Associate – PT/Seasonal
Job Description
Tasting Room Associates work with our full-time staff to host private, reservation-only tours and tastings at our Walla Walla Estate winery. This includes hosting facility tours, providing barrel samples, serving charcuterie, and pouring wine while providing an intimate and educational experience for our guests. Other duties include preparing charcuterie platters, general Tasting Room setup and prep work, email and phone correspondence, stocking wine, caring for Tasting Room plants, and other light cleaning, organizational tasks, and errands as needed.
Requirements
- Availability for most or all weekends from hire through winery closing in early December
- Must be 21+ and already have, or are willing to acquire, a MAST permit
- Basic proficiency with web and app-based POS and other programs
- Prior hospitality or wine experience a major plus
- A genuine interest in, and commitment to, providing exceptional service
- Attention to detail, a sense of urgency in service, and a critical eye for presentation
Compensation
$20/hr to start, potential for improvement with experience and good performance
Schedule
1-3 days/week depending on interest and business needs, mostly weekends
About Garrison Creek Cellars
With its first vintage dating from 2001, Garrison Creek Cellars is a gravity flow winery, located in 45 foot timber-framed barn in the middle of our 300-acre estate Les Collines Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley of southeastern Washington. The winery, owned and operated by the Murr family, produces handcrafted wines in small lots. With total production less than 1000 cases, the winery focuses primarily on Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, with several other small-lot wines made each year as well. Consistent 4-5 year aging before release with 100% new French oak produces muscular wines that are approachable at release, but built to age.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
