I. : The WAN Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, installation, documentation, administration and support of the Wide Area Network connecting Doylestown Hospital to all off campus entities (i.e.; physicians, Visiting Nurse, Pine Run Community) with an emphasis on security, high availability and integration with our LAN/WLAN technologies. The WAN engineer is responsible for training all members of the Network on call rotation to support the Wide Area Network. Remote work available per hospital policy.
II. :
1. 20% Design and implement Wide Area Network with emphasis on security, high availability and cost effectiveness. Maintain documentation of all Wide Area Network components
2. 20% Maintain accurate inventory of assets supporting the Wide Area Network
3. 20% Create, maintain and provide training materials for the network on call associates
4. 20% Continuously assess the viability of the Wide Area Network design; investigate new technologies. Develop and maintain relationships with services providers
5. 20% Provide second level support to the MIS Service Desk.
6. On call per the needs of the Department

Pay: $83,500.00 - $94,500.00 per year
