Job Overview: The Senior Network Engineer is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the network systems and infrastructure, ensuring operational stability, efficiency, and security. This role involves developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network-related systems, implementing security measures, managing disaster recovery plans, recommending technological upgrades, and providing technical support. Candidates should have a strong background in network and infrastructure management, exhibit superior technical leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and possess excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical oversight of networking and telecommunications equipment, ensuring support for various organizational systems.
- Enforce network security protocols using advanced tools to protect computing assets and ensure data confidentiality.
- Analyze operational procedures, identify infrastructure issues, and recommend solutions, including hardware and software acquisitions.
- Provide mentoring, technical guidance, and clear communications to both team members and the broader user community to maintain high service levels.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively, balancing project work with support for existing network infrastructure.
- Identify network requirements through analysis and collaboration with users, planning for network reconfiguration and expansion as needed.
- Maintain network performance through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Support users by providing network-related technical assistance and responding to inquiries.
- Research and recommend hardware and software solutions, coordinating purchases to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
