Field Inspector- Alarm/Fire Sprinkler

Calling all Fire and Life Safety Inspector to join our Telgian team!

Your Compensation and Benefits:

· Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 an hour (DOE)

Your Full Time Opportunity:

· Perform Testing & Inspections for assigned customers and submit appropriate reports.

· Communicate all work order status changes to our Customer Support team.

· Interface with internal customers and external customers (as requested) to resolve conflicts relating to survey and report deliverables; and Identify ways to reduce cost, improve productivity and quality in the delivery of our service.

· To set you up for success, you will get started in your new role by attending Telgian’s exclusive Field Inspector Training (FIT) program followed by job-shadowing one of your fellow inspectors and regular interactions with the Regional Field Supervisor.

· Telgian will provide all of the necessary tools to set you up for success including; computer, tablet, phone, printer, etc. We will even provide a clothing and shoe allowance along with many other perks.

Job Location:

· Office is your home base

· Must be available for regular travel, which varies on Region & State.

o State less populated w/few major cities – Traveling 70% of time (Approx.)

o State more populated w/major cities – traveling could be more local

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 2 years of field fire inspection experience required.

· Texas FAL for Fire Alarm; required.

· Texas RME-I for Fire Sprinkler; required.

· NICET II higher in Fire Sprinkler Systems; required.

Experience:

• Fire Alarm and/or Fire Sprinkler: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• LA state Fire Marshal License to perform FA inspections (Preferred)
• NICET II higher in Fire Sprinkler Systems (Required)
• Texas FAL for Fire Alarm (Required)
• Texas RME-I for Fire Sprinkler (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Houston, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
