Wholesale Development Coordinator

A Wholesale Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating connections with external companies, exploring potential business opportunities, and presenting products for consideration in retail stores. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, market awareness, and a deep understanding of the company's offerings, general retail landscape and industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Building:

• Find the appropriate purchaser or contact to ensure that communication is directed to the right individual.
• Establish and nurture relationships with external companies, and key contacts.
• Collaborate with various teams within the company to ensure a cohesive approach to partnerships.

Product Pitching:

• Visit local retail stores to make an informed presentation.
• Develop compelling sales presentations to effectively communicate the value of the company's products.
• Tailor pitches to address specific partner needs and preferences.

Negotiation and Agreements:

• Collaborate with external partners to negotiate terms and agreements, including pricing, placement, and marketing strategies.
• Assist in drafting contracts to safeguard all parties' interests.
• Gather required documentation needed to open an account.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, partner interactions, and market trends.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on partnership progress and outcomes.

Product Knowledge:

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and the company's offerings.
• Develop a good understanding of the company's products to effectively communicate their value to external partners.

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Preferably prior experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
• Ability to easily grasp the company's industry, products, and target audience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel and attend external partner meetings as required.
