Welder/Fabricator

Our Client is a manufacturer and supplier of petroleum and gas handling products. They distribute their products domestically and internationally and are looking for a talented individual to join their fabrication team at their Wilson, NC Headquarters. The ideal candidate for this job has exceptional skill in welding and is comfortable working with fabrication equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities -
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal assemblies, as well as aluminum and stainless steel welding in the production of manholes, spill containment valves, vaults, and other products.
- Operate equipment such as Press Brakes, Sheet Metal Rollers, and Sheer and Angle Rollers to cut metal from prints for final fabrication
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements and fabrication processes.
- Maintain welding equipment and adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Job Requirements -
- 2 years of experience in MIG and TIG Welding
- 2 years of experience in stainless steel and aluminum welding
- Ability to cut metal from prints and operate cutting and shaping equipment to prepare raw material for fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Able to work overtime as required
