Welder Pay Range:

• $26-$30/hour
• Paid WEEKLY

Welder Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding applying proper welding techniques.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and welds parts, using arc welding equipment.
• May assemble parts by bolting.
• May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts using cutting torch, straightening press and other hand tools.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Welder Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an welder, preferably on a construction site.
• Must be capable of passing a welding certification test which includes SMAW and FCAW processes.
• Must be able to read and comprehend welding instructions.
• Must be familiar with blue prints and/or structural drawings.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must have all required welding tools necessary to perform the above listed duties.

WelderPhysical Demands:

• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently on the job and able to climb in excess of 300 feet.
• Must be able to pull own weight when climbing steel bracing and ladders.

• Excessive amounts of bending, stooping, carrying, pushing and pulling of weights up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, a loud and dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields. All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
