Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components according to specifications. This is a full-time position located in Panama City, FL.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and welding requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
- Operate welding equipment to weld metal components together using various techniques such as stick welding and soldering
- Fabricate metal parts using tools such as press brake machines and pipe threading equipment
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure its proper functioning
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of various welding techniques including stick welding and soldering
- Familiarity with fabricating metal parts using press brake machines and pipe threading equipment
- Ability to use precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with welding equipment
- Forklift certification is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
