Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team at DLR Services. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in metal fabrication and welding who is looking to contribute their skills to a dynamic and growing company.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets, plates, or tubes using calipers and other measuring tools
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using power tools and hand tools
- Operate welding equipment to join metal components together
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments effectively
- Experience operating cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Schedule: Monday to Thursday- 10 hour shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
