Fox Equipment is a growing manufacturing company in Green Cove Springs, FL. We provide expansion joint and damper solutions for various gas applications. Fox Equipment's in-house design, engineering and fabrication team allows us to provide product that is second to none. All product is made to order per our customer specific requirements. Fox Equipment has equipment installed in Power Utility, Steel, Cement, Refineries, Pulp & Paper, Glass and Chemical industries throughout the world.

Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication and welding tasks according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Operate machinery such as overhead cranes, forklifts and hand tools
- Use tools such as calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
- Follow codes, standards, and safety guidelines during the fabrication process
- Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and dimensions
- Work with various materials including sheet metal
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
- Familiarity with machining processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Knowledge of codes and standards related to fabrication and welding
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Pay is based on experience, abilities, attitude and attendance. NEW for 2024 - Attendance Bonus Paid Quarterly! Candidates must have 5 years experience at one location. Must be able to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed. Typical hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., and Saturdays as needed. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 46 – 55 per week
