Job Title: Weekend Welder

Position Summary: TIG welding aluminum pipe.
Regular Hours: Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm (Work 36 hours and paid for 40!)
Pay Rate: $17 per hour depending on experience. *Weekend shift employees receive an additional .50cent shift differential*
"XPTO": In addition to company provided paid time off, starting day one employee can earn up to 60 hours of paid leave within in a one-year period.

Job Description
- Prepare for assembly by counting and inspecting the parts needed to build the product, this process is achieved either visually or by the use of prints and instructions.
- Set up and perform tacking and fitting procedures on each product as required by print or work instructions.
- Build sub-assemblies when operation requires.
- Finish weld final product to company standards when required.
- Label with proper tag and information after completion of product.
- Records data as required to demonstrate quality, or for continuous improvement projects.
- Use rework machine
- Continuous 5S practice within department.
- Conforms to all plant policies and procedures.
- Obeys and enforces all safety rules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications andSkills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year manufacturing experience required.
- Two to three years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Technical ability with problem solving and organizational skills and familiarity with manufacturing methods preferred.
- Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to work with others in a team environment.
Conditions andEquipment:
- Standard plant environment, climate controlled in the winter and may be in excess of 90 degrees in the summer.
- Use of variety of tools such as drills, metal cutting saws, tape measures, levels, angle finders, welding machines, forklift and personal protective equipment.
