You’ll inspire a great experience at The Grove by creating genuine relationships for our current Members by assisting them; or potential members by helping them join!

What is The Grove? The Grove is a Membership Club for families in Myers Park, Charlotte. Built for kids, designed for adults we feature high end amenities, thoughtful programming and a cafe curated with the best of the best from Charlotte food purveyors. www.thegroveclt.com In the cafe, we provide quality beverages and baked goods, quick service and create a fun and memorable experience at The Grove. In the we encourage little ones through parallel play and create an atmosphere of empathy and compassion to create a love for playtime.

Job Description for Weekend Front Desk Manager:

● Works closely with the Manager of Membership and Events with start-up organization knowledge and membership details for seamless execution in this weekend role

● Greets all members with a smile

● Answers any questions about joining The Grove CLT

● Welcomes our families. Engage them in conversation about their child's education and the benefits of our programs

● Manages on-site requests for appointments with the Manager of Membership and Events for all inquiries

● Assists with individual and/or group events as needed to support the Membership experience

● Embraces the opportunities and conversation where you get to know our Membership

● Provides a safe and inclusive environment

● Communicates with parents regularly to create rapport

● Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to enhance the culture, values and mission of the brand while following operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and security

● Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality What skills you will need

● You have strong social skills and love to meet new people

● You have a passion for child development and learning

● A passion for high end hospitality

● You are creative and can flex your style of work to cafe to child-minding

● You have the ability to stay calm and enjoy working in a fast and exciting environment

● You love to learn new things and are able to pick up new skills quickly

● You have the ability to understand and follow verbal & written instructions, policies & rules, and to request assistance when needed

● You are able to work well with others to help create a strong and cooperative team

● POS Experience (Toast Specifically)?? Job Types: Part-time Pay: $18 - $20 per hour based on experience Expected Schedule:

● Saturday and Sunday 8AM - 1:30PM (later as needed for events)
